LateralsSummer Associates in our Dallas office participate in a variety of events with their fellow Summer Associates and our attorneys. Our program is the only Texas-based firm to be ranked among the Top 75 programs in the country in The American Lawyer's Summer Associate Survey since 2007.
In addition to working on exciting projects with both Partners and Associates, Summer Associates receive formalized training and evaluation programs, laptop computers, window offices, pro bono opportunities, paid parking, paperless timesheets and work logs, and exciting social functions. Our social functions build strong working relationships between our attorneys and the future of our Firm and have included retreats to New Orleans and Austin, dinner parties at Partner's homes, wine tasting and cooking classes, concerts and basketball games in our suite at the American Airlines Center, women's initiative parties, private tours of professional sporting venues and lockerooms, functions with the Dallas Bar Association, annual casino event, and many more.
Our Dallas Summer Associate Program is an 8 week, first half program, and students are allowed to work a minimum of 6 weeks and a maximum 8 weeks. Summer Associates in our Dallas office work within the following areas of practice:

- Real Estate and Banking
- Tax, Benefits, and Estate Planning
